The Making Of

It has been an exhausting, thrilling and amazing journey together in the making of "The Voices". Can't believe that it has been 3 months since we started from production planning to production shooting and finally, post-production editing. Nevertheless, we all pulled through it together!

Voice Recording

Something is cooking in the voice recording booth! Fun fact: we actually use two different voices for Shiva, the female spiritual being. One is of the actress herself and another is our very own producer extraordinaire, Shantay!

Day 4 (Final Day)

Location: Sunderland

This is the final location for our 4 days of shooting. This last location, however, is the first scene of the short film. It has been a tiring 2 weeks of production shoot and the weeks before that of preparing and coordinating everything and everyone together. Needless to say, we made it through! Now, onto post production...

Day 3

Location: Consett

This location was one of the most important one for us. It is where we shot the cave scene. We cannot fault with its scenery and beauty of the surrounding. We even reshot a scene here with the police officers because it gives more depth and feel to the film as to the previous location in Jesmond Dene.

Day 2

Location: Hexham, Northumberland.

This was where we shot the cabin scene, interior and exterior of it.

Day 1

Location: Jesmond Dene, Newcastle.

On the first day of shooting, we happen to be shooting one of our most crucial and climatic scene in the short film- The Sacrificial. In the beginning of the day, the weather was nice but half way through shooting it began to rain and hail. We were all cold and wet but we still continue on shooting until 7PM.
